Tasks and Duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the core architecture of the Catch2Study digital platform.
  • Build and integrate front-end and back-end components to ensure seamless user experience and system performance.
  • Develop scalable database structures to support structured education datasets and user account management.
  • Implement secure authentication, user dashboard functionality, and subscription management features.
  • Collaborate with data and GIS specialists to integrate mapping tools and structured provincial datasets into the platform.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Participate in testing, debugging, and system upgrades throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure that development practices align with Canadian data privacy and cybersecurity standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of modern web frameworks, database management systems, and API integration.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and scalable SaaS architectures is preferred.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and secure coding principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a startup development environment.
